Sarah Landicho

I took a winding path to becoming a therapist, and those experiences continue to shape how I show up in the room. Before entering this field, I worked as a journalist, raised a family, and spent years teaching and studying yoga, Ayurveda and somatics. Each of these roles deepened my understanding of how people make meaning, navigate stress, and move through change. I work with adults and older adolescents who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or pulled in too many directions. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or the complexities of neurodivergence—especially ADHD. I also support individuals through young adulthood, parenthood, and women’s health concerns. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and responsive to what you need in the moment. I bring a steady, curious presence to the work, with a deep respect for how hard it can be to ask for help. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that can help process trauma as well as concerns like anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. While EMDR is an important part of my work, I also draw from person-centered and existential approaches, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels manageable. My background in community mental health continues to inform my commitment to accessible, compassionate care. I aim to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to explore and move through what’s getting in the way of the life you want to lead.
