Hello, I'm Patrick, and I believe we all need a place where we can feel truly seen and accepted—free from judgment or shame. I believe we all carry a deep longing to be known and loved for who we really are. For some of us, that may not be something we've often experienced. If that’s you, I want you to know you’re not alone.
As a Christian, I believe every person is created good and worthy of love, even though life can bring wounds and brokenness that leave us feeling stuck or rejected. Whatever you're carrying, there's room for it here. I'm not here to fix you, but to walk alongside you—to listen, support, and help you find the change and wholeness you're longing for. Together, we'll focus on what matters most to you, at your own pace and in a way that feels safe and respectful.
I focus on creating a space that feels safe, welcoming, and grounded in curiosity and acceptance. Building an authentic connection is central to my work, as I believe meaningful change begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship. When working with individuals, I often use an attachment-based approach and draw from the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. This approach helps us view struggles like addiction or anxiety as attempts to protect ourselves from pain—efforts that carry meaning and deserve curiosity and compassion, not judgment.
Originally from Southwest Missouri, I now live in Oak Park with my wife after spending the last several years living on the West Side of Chicago. I love physical activity, so when I am not in the therapy office, you might find me in the gym or on the volleyball court.
Whether we meet virtually or in person at the Oak Park location, I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and becoming more fully yourself.
