Hello! I’m Jessica, and I am passionate about empowering clients to connect with their authentic selves and strengths in order to heal, grow, and make meaningful life changes.
I enjoy helping clients learn skills to manage stress, anxiety, and depression, build healthy boundaries and relationships, improve school/work-life balance, and build self-esteem. I am also passionate about providing support, empathy, and guidance for those who are struggling with grief, trauma, or life transitions. I understand how difficult it can be to feel overwhelmed by a life change, whether big or small, expected or unexpected. Sometimes we just need someone to hold that space for us as we process our emotions and find our way forward.
In the therapy room, I aim to provide a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore and process openly. I believe that therapy works best as a collaborative process and utilize an integrative, strengths-based approach to help clients identify their individual goals and build insight, skills, and the confidence to reach them.
I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in 2021. Since then, I have worked in university, emergency room, and private practice settings. Additionally, I have experience working with the sexual violence survivor community, which led me to pursue my 40HR Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling training certificate through the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault in 2020. I feel that my diverse professional experience both in and outside of the mental health field enriches my work with clients. I currently see clients both in-person and virtually in Illinois and virtually in Indiana.
I look forward to getting to know you and helping you build toward the life you want!
