Welcome! Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels calm, compassionate, and grounded in safety. I work with adolescents and adults using a holistic, trauma-informed approach that integrates evidence-based talk therapy with creative expression through art therapy.
I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel empowered to move at their own pace within a collaborative and supportive relationship. Together, we can explore patterns, strengthen self-understanding, build resilience, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater intention and self-compassion. My goal is to help clients cultivate a stronger sense of self that can serve as an anchor through periods of transition, uncertainty, and growth.
Art therapy can offer an additional pathway for expression, reflection, and healing, and no artistic experience is needed. I aim to create an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and free of judgment, where creativity can support deeper insight and emotional processing.
My therapeutic approach incorporates art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, attachment-based perspectives, relational therapy, and trauma-informed care. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colorado State University and my master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. My clinical experience includes inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings, where I have worked with adolescents and adults in individual, group, and family therapy.
“Art should be something that liberates your soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further.” — Keith Haring
