Healing isn't linear—and I don't pretend it is. I show up in the therapy room as a collaborator, not an expert with all the answers. My work is grounded in the belief that healing isn't about perfection. It's about reclaiming your voice, reconnecting with your own inner wisdom, and moving toward wholeness at a pace that actually feels safe to you.
As a South Asian woman, I bring lived understanding to the work. I know what it's like to navigate identity, community expectations, and family dynamics that aren't always easy to name out loud. I understand how cultural narratives, generational roles, and unspoken pressures shape our emotional lives, our relationships, and the way we see ourselves. Much of my clinical work centers on clients of color sitting at the intersections of culture, race, faith, trauma, and belonging. In our work together, cultural nuance isn't an afterthought—it's centered. You get to bring the fullness of who you are, without translation and without judgment.
I work with adults and couples navigating grief, anxiety, life transitions, identity development, domestic and sexual violence, emotional dysregulation, and relational conflict. I'm especially drawn to clients processing relational trauma, exploring cultural identity, or healing from experiences that made them feel small, silenced, or disconnected from themselves. For clients who want to bring their spirituality into the room, I also offer faith-based counseling that integrates psychological insight with Christian reflection—anchored in compassion, discernment, and emotional safety.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I draw on Narrative Therapy, DBT-informed interventions, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices to help you understand your internal landscape and build real emotional regulation skills. My approach is deeply personalized. Together, we'll explore your story, look at the roles you've played and the characters who've shaped you, and consider which patterns are ready to shift or be released. Narrative work lets you reclaim authorship—rewriting the limiting stories and moving toward something more aligned, more meaningful, more you.
I'm also a neurodivergent-affirming therapist with training as a psychometrician, having administered neuropsychological assessments for ADHD and Autism. My growing expertise with this population sharpens how I see clients—helping me support you in understanding both your inner world and your neurocognitive profile.
I bring warmth, attunement, and deep respect for the complexity of cultural identity to every session. If you're ready, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you build resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of self—one rooted in authenticity, agency, and hope.
