I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we work together toward the life you want for yourself. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, experiencing change, or simply looking for a space to reflect and grow, my goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe to show up as you are. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful changes that bring greater balance, connection, and fulfillment to their lives. As a Latina and cultural practitioner, I’ve experienced the many ways healing can take shape. Whether through community, culture, creativity, or therapy, I believe healing is not one size fits all. This perspective informs how I show up as a therapist with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s unique experiences and path forward. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward the changes that matter most to you. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate different seasons of life and opportunities for growth and change. I believe each person brings their own unique story, strengths, and values into therapy, and I tailor my approach to honor your individual experiences while supporting you in moving toward your goals with greater confidence and self compassion. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming and body affirming care and draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and somatic approaches to support your individual goals and needs My passion for this work is deeply personal. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how limited access to mental health care and other resources can shape individuals, families, and communities. Those experiences continue to inspire my commitment to making therapy approachable, culturally responsive, and welcoming. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy sharing and preserving Afro Puerto Rican music and dance traditions through my work as a cultural practitioner, and spending time with my family, friends, and my two dogs, Bella and Peaches.
