Hi, I'm Alison! I support youth and families seeking assistance with anxiety, autism, depression, executive functioning, learning challenges, and parent coaching. I tailor my approach to meet each individual's unique needs and draw from a range of therapeutic methods to support the best possible outcomes. I take into account developmental strengths and areas for growth by continually assessing an individual’s physicality, sociability, emotions, personality, cognition, intellect, and perception. When working with young clients, I actively involve parents, as I believe that building a strong support system around the child fosters resilience and healing. I completed my Master’s degrees in School Counseling in 2013 and Mental Health Counseling in 2015, and I earned my Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology in 2024. I have extensive experience providing mental health therapy to youth and families across public behavioral health settings, private outpatient practices, and school systems. I also hold certifications in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trauma and Resilience Life Coaching, and Infant Toddler Mental Health. I currently work full-time as a school psychologist while seeing clients at Mosaic on a part-time basis. I balance my dedication to professional growth with time spent traveling (Switzerland is my favorite destination!), enjoying nature through hiking, gardening, and walking my dog, and spending time with friends and family. Although I’ve lived outside of Illinois, I grew up in Chicago’s western suburbs and now live there again—it's where I feel most at home.
