I embarked on my journey in the field of healthcare by pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan. During my initial years as a nurse, I gained valuable experience working directly with patients at the bedside. I found fulfillment in providing compassionate care and supporting individuals during their most vulnerable moments.  
 
Motivated by my experiences and a desire to make a meaningful impact, I made a career transition into various roles focused on case management, utilization review, and care coordination. These positions allowed me to gain a broader perspective on healthcare delivery systems and further understand the complexities of mental health treatment. I soon recognized the pressing need for improved community mental health resources and observed the disparities within the healthcare system, particularly concerning psychiatric treatment.  
 
Driven by a newfound purpose, I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, specializing in psychiatric and mental health nursing. Equipped with my advanced education and expertise, I became board certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).  
 
Since 2018, I have been working in community-based outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs, catering to the mental health needs of adults aged 18 and above. My compassionate and holistic approach to patient care has been instrumental in positively impacting the lives of those under my care.  
 
I am dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and addressing the gaps in psychiatric treatment. I actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that encompass both medication management and therapeutic interventions. I am committed to advocating for my clients and ensuring they receive the support they deserve.
I welcome working with adults ages 18-65 both virtually and in person at our Oak Park and Orland Park locations.
